Mrs. Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN, FCIArb
President
Jean Chiazor Anishere, SAN is a distinguished maritime lawyer, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and respected author of five volumes of Essays in Admiralty, published in the UK. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Admiralty Law Reports of Nigeria (Vols. 1–20), a leading compendium of Nigerian admiralty judgments.
Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986, she holds law and transport management degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Lagos, and Ladoke Akintola University, with further certification in shipping from the UK.
She has served as a Maritime Legal Consultant to the Nigerian House of Representatives, trained NIMASA’s first Cabotage Enforcement Officers, and co-chaired the Nigerian Admiralty Law and Procedure Reform Committee (2020). A prominent figure in maritime and legal professional bodies, she is Principal Partner at Jean Chiazor & Partners, Lagos, and is listed in Who’s Who Legal Nigeria.

Sir (Chief) Osuala Emmanuel Nwagbara

Sir (Chief) Osuala Emmanuel Nwagbara, LL.M (Maritime Law), MCIArb (UK), FinstTA is a Maritime Lawyer with over 32 years of experience in maritime and commercial law.
He serves as Legal Adviser to major maritime bodies including the Nigerian Ports Consultative Council, Shippers Association, and National Seafarers Welfare Board. His core expertise covers maritime law, shipping, port concession, maritime labour, and maritime arbitration/ADR.
He has acted as Lead Counsel in international maritime arbitration and consults for local and foreign ship-owning companies on regulatory compliance, maritime labour negotiations, Nigerian Content, and Cabotage law.
He is Co-Chairman, Nigerian Maritime Law Association Admiralty Law & Procedure Reform Committee (2020) and a former Honorary Secretary, Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria. He has published scholarly works and was featured in Beacons of Nigeria Maritime Industry (2018).

Mrs. Foluke Akinmoladun

Foluke Akinmoladun is the Managing Solicitor at Trizon Law Chambers, Nigeria, with a professional practice focused on arbitration, mediation, and commercial dispute resolution. She is qualified as an arbitrator, mediator, mediator-advocate; party representative and has acted as arbitrator, arbitral registrar, and counsel in both domestic and international proceedings. Her dispute resolution experience spans maritime, construction, finance, energy, and other commercial disputes, conducted under institutional and ad hoc arbitration frameworks.

Chief Ben Onwunma , BSc, MBA, MCIoD, FICA, MCIArb is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in credit control and maritime consultancy. He combines strong financial management expertise with in-depth knowledge of the maritime sector, providing strategic guidance on commercial, operational, and dispute resolution matters. His multidisciplinary background supports effective financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.

Mr. Bodunrin Adewole FCIArb

Mr. Bodunrin Adewole FCIarb is an experienced arbitration and ADR expert. He has actively been involved in mediation proceedings at the Lagos Multi-Door Court House. He is a partner in the law firm of Legal Direct Solicitors & Advocates. He is an approved Tutor and a Resource person of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.

Mrs. Adedoyin Rhodes-Vivour SAN C.Arb

Adedoyin Rhodes-Vivour, lawyer and arbitrator (British Chevening Scholar) is a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is a past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigerian Branch.
She is a Notary Public of Nigeria called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981 and took silk in 2019. She has practiced law for close to four decades and has significant experience in Maritime/Shipping Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
She is listed on the panel of various arbitration institutions and recognised in various publications including Who's Who Legal and Expert Guides as a leading international arbitrator.
She is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration and is a supporting member of the London Maritime arbitrators association.

Chief Gbola Akinola C.Arb - Legal Practitioner with cognate experience in Corporate and Commercial Law practice and a highly skilled advocate with extensive commercial legal advisory experience. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, listed on the Panel of Chartered Arbitrators, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has served as an Arbitrator in many instances, represented clients in Commercial Arbitration and have also been involved in International Commercial Arbitration. He is the current Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigerian Branch.

Mr. Adewale Jones FCIarb is a commercial Lawyer, Arbitration practitioner and partner in the law firm of Ashfield and Bowman Attorneys. He holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Maritime Law from the London Metropolitan University and another Post-graduate Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from Queen Mary, University of London. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK.
