MAAN Membership
The Association was founded by practicing maritime practitioners and arbitrators to promote sound arbitration and to establish ethical standards for its membership. It is a leading arbitration organization and the primary Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) organization in the maritime industry in Nigeria. Its membership focus is ship-owners, shippers, insurers, oil and gas majors, oil service companies, law firms, ship-brokers, and ship-agents. It is a private organization, whose participating members are groups of maritime professionals and all those committed to the promotion and development of Maritime Arbitration.
MAAN maintains a list of those having expertise and experience as maritime arbitrators, in the event you are interested in being listed kindly forward your detailed CV indicating your experience with three sanitised awards you have written to the Honorary Secretary.
Listing may be revoked to avoid damage to the reputation of the association where there are reasonable grounds to conclude that there has been a breach of the associations ethic and rules of conduct.
